Description:

• Develop project plans to manage the end-to-end project activities and execution approach
• Utilize a rigorous process of defining client requirements and project specifications
• Define purpose, clear roles, tasks, milestones, budgets and measures of success
• Manage the project estimating activity
• Work with Business Project Leader, IT Team Manager to select core team and communicate approach; present plans and gain sign-off from the business and IT management
• Conduct project / phase kick-off meetings to communicate individual roles and project expectations and ensure that all project team members have the tools and training required to perform effectively
• Monitor projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress and quality, managing issue resolution process and taking corrective action as necessary.
• Work with Testing Manager and testing team to ensure thorough testing of modules / application / interfaces / infrastructure.
• Promote and monitor compliance of application development activities with audit and information risk policies.
• Provide and implement action plans to mitigate risk, when applicable
• Monitor financial delivery and issue management processes, escalating issues and variances to budgets where necessary
• Lead the post-implementation review evaluating project results, including client satisfaction
• Manage day-to-day workload of team members proactively identifying and resolving issues that would present a risk to on-time implementation of the program / project.

Knowledge:

• College degree, specialized training, or equivalent work experience
• Typically requires 4 to 6 years of combined business, project management, team leadership and technology experience
• Experience with projects in multiple technologies, functions (e.g. transaction management, risk management, etc) within the Finance sector
• Knowledge of CMM, PRINCE2 Methodologies and Standards
• Project Management Certification (PRINCE2 / PMP) is a plus
• Knowledge of sourcing methodologies, operating models and working with professional services firms
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC) is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Language:

Good level in French-Dutch-English (passive is necessary, active is a plus)
