Description:

The test engineer is responsible for describing test cases and executing them. He/she analyses the test results and reports defects in the defect registration system. He/she assists the developers in reproducing the defect and performs the necessary retests & regression tests. During the user acceptance tests he/she analyses the defects found by the end-users and tries to reproduce them on the system test environment. He/she assists the end-users in the execution of their tests. He/she reports the progress of the work directly to the project leader and the test manager, and for larger projects, to the senior test professional who was assigned to the project.

Skills:

• Required knowledge: Test Methodology;V-Model;SQL;Unix;Test Director or Quality Centre;setting up test cases;executing tests;defect follow up;test reporting;writing test plans & strategy documents;test coordination of small teams
• Desired knowledge: DataWareHouse concepts;BI concepts;banking experience
• Possible remarks: Bachelor in ICT or higher required; pro-active attitude;good communication skills;
