At present all scripts for the "OSG compliancy checks" are written in ksh, they would be migrated to the Tripwire Product before the end of this year (tentative planning). You should be:

• Able to perform a complete project cycle independent (balance between technical and project management parts of the project) and good communication skills.
• Able to work with cross-boarder team members, teams.
• Able to create (with assistance and in cooperation with other) audit flows, create the flows and al related documents, procedures.
• Able to work in an ITIL environment, understand operational needs, balance between security and operational needs.

Knowledge:

• Required:
  • Motivated and interested in UNIX security also the process side (process flow, procedures …).
  • Able to perform a security audit and recommendations on Unix systems
  • Sun Solaris 8, 9 and 10 ( nice to have 5.6 and 5.7 )
  • Extended knowledge of internal Solaris security structure and implementations
  • SUNWjass
  • BSM auditing
  • PAM
  • Platform specific configurations
  • Solaris 10 zoning and impact to security
  • Disaster recovery techniques ( Live Upgrade, … )
  • Scripting sh, ksh and csh + perl
• Nice to have:
  • IBM AIX knowledge (operational and security structure)
  • Knowledge of Sun Microsystems low and high-end systems (SUN Fire 245 till Sun 25K)
  • Sun cluster 3.0 -> 3.2 (more then 40 clustered systems)
  • Sun Solaris disaster recovery ( Live Upgrade, flar, … )
  • Veritas Volume Manager and file-system
  • Knowledge and experience off Sarbanes – Oxly
  • Knowledge and experience with ISO 1799 (http://17799.macassistant.com/ )
  • Knowledge of security products, http://www.netiq.com/ , http://www.tripwire.com/ and others
