Senior Project Leader for managing the project New Order Manager in the finacial sector

Location:

Brussels (This position requires frequent travel to Amsterdam.)

Description:

The Wholesale Banking – Payments and Cash Management department is looking for a Senior Project Leader - New Order Manager with affinity for Business Analysis, who is willing to use his/her talent within the world of Payments and Cash Management.

Responsibilities:

The project manager will be responsible for delivery of the project (and possible sub-projects) in line with the GPL project life-cycle of the bank.

  • Lead and accountable for total project
  • Control and follow-up of project budget and planning
  • Detailed planning and progress reporting (Status Reports, Exception Reports)
  • Review of key project deliverables
  • Reporting to Steering Committee and Change Delivery Manager
  • Manage risks/issues/changes within the project
  • Coordinate project milestone reviews & project close-out
  • Organize hand-over to Business
  • Co-ordinate with other departments and external parties on all project activities
  • Manage and coach project team
  • Ensure communication within the program, including reporting of progress, budget, issues / risks, scope evolution.

  • Knowledge of Payments
  • Knowledge of payments routing via internal bank engines (order manager) is considered a big advantage
