Description:

Study the different alternatives to perform the migration (keep the same technology or change it radically). For each ones, highlights the positive and negative aspects, make an estimation of cost and planing as well as a migration plan in the Project Initiation Document. Highlight the best solution regarding the business needs in the future.

Then, ensure the delivery of the migration components in line with the overall scope, planning, budget and quality requirements :

• Take contact with the different suppliers in order to define the migration possibilities.
• construct planning (project plan) regarding all peripheral projects (constraints on eventual freeze period, …)
• obtain buy in for the planning from all involved parties
• maintain planning
• review and challenge delivery plans of other domains
• facilitate interactions with other ING domains to arrive at a common view on the solutions and the delivery timeline
• clear all issues to allow the delivery team to make progress
• drive obtaining all the external input deliverables
• follow up the deliveries of the other ING domains
• follow up technical deliveries of the project delivery team
• participate in the project meetings
• risks and issues logs
• project status dashboards
• Organization of the communication to the business and operations & IT teams.

Knowledge:

• Required: System migration experience, Clearing and Settlement in securities domain. An experience in the EAE (LINC) environment is an asset.
• Desired: CMMi, PRINCE2
