DR (Disaster Recovery) Consultant

Location:

Brussels (near Central Station) with possibility to travel 2 days a week (Netherlands – Brussels – Luxembourg)

Description:

In the context of a major program, the bank established a cross border process for Disaster Recovery as part of Service Continuity Management. Disaster Recovery is requested by the Business Lines within the bank for new projects and for improvement on existing services.

Knowledge:

• High school / University graduate or equal level based on experiencel behaviour

• Communication skills (verbal and in writing)
• Planning skills
• 3 years of professional experience in Continuity related roles (BCP, DRP, Availability mgt.)
• In-depth knowledge of several technical environments (preferable IBM Mainframe, networks, storage, web-infrastructure)
• Planning DR test & Coordination/support on executing,evaluating, reporting of DR tests. Writing DR Run books, scenario-analysis, Quality check on DR Run books
• Experience with setting-up DR for a Datacenter

Language:

Sound knowledge of English, French and/or Dutch is required. (Second language has to be English)

Duration:

8 months with possible extension
