IT-Control-M Applications Officer Specialist

Location:

Brussels (near Central Station). The function requires the possibility to be call-in at home during the night. The function requires the possibility of working during evenings and weekends

Description:

Within the banks Service Operation organization, Applications Services Merchant Bank Global Market and Commercial Bank provide second line level support for banking applications in the bank. The support covers Europe, the United States and Asia.

Skills:

• University degree or High School degree
• Ability to analyze and to understand technical requirement that may have an impact on the operability and the support of complex banking applications.
• Able to work both in a team as well asautonomously.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment.
• Capable to estimate the impact of incidents.
• Sense of the urgency in the resolution of incidents
• Business experience required
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Control-M applications support.
• Used to work in an ITIL based support organization with multiple 2nd and 3rd level support teams dedicated to specifics platforms and dedicated software systems.
• Experience in dealing room environment is as plus.
• Strong technical background in Control-M.
• Good knowledge of Windows, Unix and AS-400.
• Good knowledge of IT environments
• Work with a team of high qualify IT experts
• Experience of software package and technology used in the dealing room is as a plus
• Experience in monitoring systems (Tivoli) is as a plus.
• Able to understand and analyze complex applications issues that could be related to the software language or to the bank applications.
• Able to document all new applications installed and keep the documentation up to date.
• Coordinate and implement changes in the QA and Production environment
• Knowledge in Disaster recovery Plan.

Language:

Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills, French and/or Dutch speaking is as plus
